Lemons are bright yellow fruits that are naturally acidic and therefore sour in flavour. This makes them a common ingredient in various recipes, as well as a popular addition to water and to herbal teas.

This food is low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Iron and Magnesium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Potassium and Copper.

Grate the peel and use in salad, stir fry, cereal and smoothies. Freeze for later use.
